2nd Friday ArtAbout Sign-Up for Venues or Artists with an Event lined up!

Use this sign-up form to participate in the 2nd Friday ArtAbout if you're a business or artist hosting a free, art-related event. Events can include art receptions, art pop-ups and markets, crafting activities and demonstrations, live music, and more.
The 2nd Friday ArtAbout is a free, monthly, self-guided art walk in downtown Davis, California. This form is a way to gather information for participating venues to have their event listed on a printed map/guide and in other promotional materials. Inclusion and visibility on the map will be determined by location/proximity to downtown.

Deadline to sign up:
21 calendar days (3 weeks prior to the event): to be included in all advertisements, email blasts, social media posts, and the printed monthly guide.

For any submissions that come in after the deadline, we will still try to accommodate your venue into marketing and the monthly guide where possible.

Event/Exhibition Description: *

Submit a minimum of 20 words / maximum of 75 words to describe the event. Types of info to include: details about the artist and their work, theme of the show, additional activities like artist demos or craft projects, if there will be live music or refreshments, etc. Description may need to be shortened on the guide due to space limitations.0/75
Submit well-lit, high quality images. Each image file size should be between 500 KB - 5 MB. For 2D works, crop images to the edge of the artwork. No frame, background wall, or glass reflection visible. Prior to uploading, image files should be saved & re-named with the artist's name and artwork title for crediting purposes (Ex. Smith,Tulips.jpeg or Smith,Untitled.jpeg if no title). Please submit more than one image when possible. Monthly participants should submit different images each month.*
